Ceramic Insulated Band Heaters

Ceramic Insulated Band Heaters conserve energy by using a 1/4" thick ceramic fiber insulating blanket reducing power consumption by 25 to 30 percent. Because of the low thermal conductivity of the ceramic fiber insulation the external surface temperature of the Ceramic Band Heater is approximately 200ºC while running the inside surface temperature at 600ºC. The most common applications include plastic injection moulding machines extruders and blow moulding equipment. Cartridge Heaters

STANDARD CARTRIDGE HEATERS Nichrome wire heating coils are inserted in holes formed in ceramic tubes. Pure magnesium oxide filler is vibrated into the holes housing the heating coils to allow maximum heat transfer to the stainless steel sheath. The heater then has a heliarc welded end cap inserted on the bottom of the heater and insulated leads are installed.

Strip and Finned Strip Heater

a specific, nichrome or kanthal ribbon wire is wound on specially selected mica strip, providing even heat distribution for maximum heater life. Mica of proper thickness is used to insulate the windings, providing excellent thermal conductivity and dielectric strength.

Metallic Heating Elements

We can manufacture metallic heating elements to any specifications and with short delivery times. Examples of element types are:
